How's it going mate? I remember when we did the interview a while back you mentioned you were going to put together a website - when your brother got around to scanning in those HBH polaroids! Maybe we should do a catch up interview, and let some forumers ask you some questions! What do you guys think?

Does anyone have any H.B.H questions?
Thanks for watching and taking such an interest in the show. When we were filming it, sites like this really inspired us because the show hadn't really taken off in Australia yet and it amazed us that people watched the show in places like France and Holland that were a million miles away from Sydney.

hbh questions, ok here's one.
I would like the know the exact locations of the hbh schools (so i can use it for my site): hartley high and hartley heights. I know that the first one doesn't exist anymore.

ps: in holland they aired hbh till june this year. They are gonna air it again this february. Still a lot of people watch it here. It's very popular. -
O.K. The first school was located in a suburb called Maroubra and the next school was in Warriewood. They are both beach side suburbs but at opposite ends of Sydney. Maroubra is very close to Sydney's famous Bondi Beach.
An interesting fact was that Emma Roche who played Danni in the first few series actually went to school at the old high school in Maroubra where the show was filmed. She had a lot of great stories about what the school was like when it was real. -

-How did you get your part as Charlie in HBH?

There are no plans for a H.B.H reunion that I know of.
My favourite character to work with was Kat. Ada and I are real good friends and she really helped me out when I started on the show. I also had a lot of fun doing scenes with Ryan (Rel Hunt) My favourite Ep was the one where I take the pills and go crazy. The volleyball eps were also fun because we just got to hang out on the beach all day. Most of them were fun though.
It used to take two weeks to film two episodes. We'd shot two eps at the same time. It's called a block.
Inge has Dutch background but I don't know if she was born in Holland. I know she visits Holland though.
As for on set romances I can't say but I assure you that there were many. Except for me as I had a girlfriend the whole time.

Can you tell me the exact location of the famous warehouse , the Scheppers house , and the shark pool?

The warehouse, Scheppers house, and Shark Pool were all in fact located in the school set - hence when the show moved to Hartley Heights - all the three sets looked different, with the changes to the warehouse being included in a storyline.
But I wonder where EXACTLY the sets were in the school - there were quite a lot of rooms and corridors that we never saw on screen... -
Ok. I really liked working with Anita (LARA) and Draz(CAL). They are both really cool. Cal taught me how to rollerblade for the show which was fun. Cal, Rel, Rupert, jonny, Vince and I all shared a dressing room which was fun. It was located just next to the stairs that lead out to the playground. We sometimes got in trouble for talking too loud whilst they were filming outside. The girls dressing room was right next door. The school was filled with rooms that were used as sets or production offices. We also had a green room where we would hang out and watch videos or sleep. Most of the exterior locations where around sydney's eastern suburbs where Maroubra is. We used to go up to the shark pool set to play pool sometimes. The warehouse was really cold.
I liked playing Charlie alot. i thought he was a good character because he showed that you didn't have to be cool to make friends and meet girls. he was just himself which was good.
School is a really tough time for lots of people the world over. Charlie had a tough time but he stayed true and survived. I hope that that's what people got from Charlies character that it's ok to be different and to be yourself. -
